For Every Woman Who’s Ever Dimmed Her Light at the Holiday Table
There's something about going home.
You know the feeling. That tightness in your chest. The conversations you're already rehearsing that haven't even happened yet.
"How's that little business going?"
You can already hear the tone.
And sitting at that table—between who you were and who you're becoming—that can be one of the most vulnerable places in the world.
But here's what I want you to remember:
This moment? This discomfort? It's not just about the holidays.
It's about every time you've had to choose between dimming your light or disappointing someone. Between being SEEN or being SAFE.
And today, I want to help you stay rooted. Stay connected. Stay TRUE.
When I remember why I’m here… something in me softens open and wakes up.
The part that carries my truth. My fire. My joy. My devotion.
And here’s what’s alive for me:
I’m here to midwife a Visibility Revolution.
Where wealth returns to women.
Where women feel held and safe in their power.
Where visibility becomes a sacred act of liberation — not performance.
That’s my why.
And when I drop into it, my whole body remembers.
I stand fuller. Clearer. Rooted in a presence that doesn’t shake.
And you?
You're here because you have medicine. Resources. Wisdom that people desperately need.
Maybe your medicine is for the women reclaiming their voice after years of self-silencing.
Maybe it’s for the caregivers and space-holders who’ve carried everyone else and are ready to receive for once.
Maybe you’re here for the intuitive leaders who want to navigate visibility, boundaries, and hard conversations with an anchored nervous system.
COME ON. Can the world use more of that?
Am I right?
So for you to feel safe in your visibility—so you can be seen, so you can quickly tap into your WHY—that's the start of a different kind of visibility.
One from soul. Not generic strategy.
Here's what I know about being "too much":
I was… and still very much am, the "too much" member of my family growing up.
I felt things. I had questions. And I learned to be easy. To be digestible. Palatable for others.
Because truth?
I felt emotionally responsible for the people around me.
And I carried that straight into my business.
When I first started, the fear of judgment was LOUD. The voice that said "just follow the template" was louder.
And then I realized... that's the point.
I've never been a surface-level gal. I've never fit into the one-size-fits-all mold.
I FEEL things. I am different.
And that's a good thing.
Because it means I get to step out of the mold that was never mine. And that feels GOOD.
But whew, was it hard to hold that version of me, the "recovering perfectionist" and the "it is our time" entrepreneur.
I'd playdown my achievements. Get reactive when anyone "challenged" my "little business."
And then something shifted:
When I remembered it's not about me. (Easier said than done, I know.)
When I could drop into MY WHY. When I could truly advocate for my MISSION, not just my business, well...
Shit changed.
Your fire doesn't need permission.
Not everyone will get it. And that's not your job.
You're here to change the world. That's not arrogant. That's just true.
We weren't meant to do this alone.
We are people of belonging. Souls who crave connection.
Yet we live in this patriarchal playbook that says: nose to the grind, success = isolation, "it's lonely at the top," "she's such a workaholic."
So we work in isolation. Create content behind closed doors. We don't co-create with others.
We're left in our office, with our own devices, our own fears, and often a LOUD inner critic.
Because we're operating in a playbook and framework that ISN'T OURS.
We are women. Soul-led entrepreneurs. And working alone feels harder because IT IS.
That's why, as Brené Brown shares, she works with others IN the arena. She values their input, their perspective, because THEY get it. THEY are IN it too.
The ones in the stands? Caught in the old paradigm? The paradigm your business is probably fighting AGAINST?
They don't get it.
And being around people who don't get it isn't a step toward greater inner trust or safety.
And as a result? It's not a step toward your impact.
This is why we get to CHOOSE to do it together.
To rewrite OUR rules of business. Of success. Of impact. Of visibility.
So what would that look like for you? Feel like for you?
If your visibility felt FUN. If it felt safe and like YOURS.
Because I promise it's possible.
The world doesn't need another polished guru performing on stage.
It needs YOUR disruption.
Your kitchen dance energy. Your messy, real, "this is who I am" presence.
The fire of your why can activate other people into their transformation. Their awakening.
So if this holiday season you catch yourself around people who aren't in the arena—people who don't get what you're bringing to the world—remember:
Remember WHY you're doing this.
Remember that your presence matters. That your medicine is needed. That your visibility isn't vanity.
It's revolution.
We’re gathering on December 3rd for something I'm calling the Sacred Content Planning Party.
It's free. It's live. And it's exactly what it sounds like: a PARTY.
Not another training where you take notes and feel overwhelmed.
A space where we reconnect to our WHY. Where we vision our content for early 2026 from our SOUL—not someone else's strategy.
Where we remember that we're not alone in this. That there are other women in the arena who GET IT.
If this landed, if any of this resonated, I'd love to have you in the room.
You already know why you started.
Your fire is needed.
Your voice matters.
And you don't have to do this alone.
See you on December 3rd.
With so much love and fire,
Des 💃🏽
